After graduating Jackson head into the world of professional acting making his way through the following years playing a diverse range of characters in a variety of different productions becoming known for his comedy timing, honest and vibrant characters, high energy physicality, and colourful voice as well as cheerful, warm, and professional demeanour. As equally at home in Shakespeare as in a multi role children’s show Jackson is always willing to take risks and meet challenges head on in the search for the best possible performance, and always does it with a smile.
Having grown up in a military family moving from place to place, including a stint overseas, Jackson, having briefly flirted with the idea of being a classical musician, finally settled at the University of Bristol to study for a BA(hons) in Drama: Theatre, Film, and Television during which he focused on the theory and practice of theatre in performance, cross media adaptation, renaissance drama, and classical theatre. Whilst there he pursued his love acting and performing taking lead roles in plays, musicals, films, and cabarets. Following which he gained a place at The Bristol Academy of Performing Arts to study a further two years in musical theatre.
Alongside acting Jackson also works as a composer and arranger for a handful of theatre companies as well as writing, driecting, and teaching.
